Position Status: Immediately /full time
Swenson Granite Works, a division of Polycor, has an immediate opening for a Customer Support Associate. Under the responsibility of the Store Manager, the candidate must focus on helping, educating customers, and promoting sales. They provide sound advice on the selection, site preparation, and use of natural stone products, while identifying opportunities to recommend products or services that meet customers’ needs. The CSA assists customers in person, over the phone, or by email, ensuring a positive sales experience. He is a credible representative of Swenson Granite Works.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Explaining our product and service offerings-strong customer service.
- Quoting prices and credit terms; prepare sales orders.
- Focused on providing the right product, in the correct quantity, at the appropriate time.
- Informs local businesses about Swenson’s dealer discounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to educate customers. They are sales-driven, capable of identifying opportunities and achieving sales targets and KPIs. With experience in customer service or sales, particularly in the construction or home improvement industries, they bring valuable expertise to the role.
Requirement:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a genuine passion for serving customers.
- Patience and professionalism, capable of working effectively within a team.
- Intermediate computer skills, including use of a point-of-sale system and Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of natural stone hardscaping and outdoor living products is an asset, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Flexible, available for seasonal half-days Saturday work (April to October).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug test.
- Comfortable working in a range of weather conditions.
