AutoCAD Draftsman / Estimator

Position Summary

Swenson Stone Works is looking for an experienced, full-time drafting design position in our Barre, Vermont location. This position will support the ability to work remotely 1-2 days/week. This is NOT an entry level position.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with company-owned stores and contractors alike  to generate  estimates based on the customers construction plans/building specs
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for various sized jobs
• Maintain all files of all open bids / change-orders as needed
• Ability to communicate with builders / clients about various aspects of their project as defined by the projects scope of work
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the landscape and architectural stone industry

Experience

We are looking for an experienced, full-time draftsman skilled in the following areas:

• Residential a must, commercial experience a plus
• CAD drafting
• Estimating experience a plus

Required software skillset:

• Microsoft office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
• AutoCAD (at least 1 year)
