Retail Assistant Store Manager

Position Summary

Swenson Granite Works is currently hiring for the position of Assistant Store Manager at our East Wareham retail location. Swenson Granite has quarried and produced quality New England granite products since 1883. We have built our 139-year reputation by being a customer-focused, team-oriented company. Our business is sales of cut granite and natural stone to homeowners, landscapers, home builders, and masons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities other duties may be assigned

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Team with the Store Manager to provide outstanding service to our customers who come to us for the highest quality cut granite and natural stone products for landscaping, masonry, and building projects
• A pleasant, can-do attitude is a must
• Present quotes and complete sales in our retail store
• Inventory management, including ordering and receiving
• Basic computer skills are required, and forklift experience is a plus

Other

• Lifting or moving up to 50lbs on occasion and standing throughout the day.

Education and/or Experience

Retail/Stone experience is preferred, but we are willing to train!
