General Quarry Worker

Position Summary

Swenson Granite Works is looking for a hard working, positive team player to fill our General Quarry Worker position at our Woodbury, Vermont, location.

This is an outdoor job involving the extraction of granite from our quarry. Tasks may include climbing ladders, occasional lifting and carrying more than 50 pounds, running quarry wire saws, drills, etc. Experience in the construction, farming or stone industry is highly desirable, but prior mining experience is not required because WE WILL TRAIN YOU.

This year-round, full-time position with a starting pay rate is $20/hour based on experience, plus comprehensive group benefits including a 401k plan with company match.
