CDL – Boom Truck Driver

Location: Rowley, MA

Position Status: Immediately /full time

Swenson Granite Works, a division of Polycor Group, has an immediate opening for a CDL Boom Truck Driver/Operator

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivers and unloads materials to customers’ satisfaction.
  • Organizes and secures load.
  • Assists forklift operators when loading.
  • Complete daily equipment pre-inspection and ensure boom integrity.
  • Follow guidelines established by the Department of Transportation.
  • Obeying all regulatory agencies and company safety directives.
  • Responsible for site safety as it pertains to the delivery and/or installation of products at customer locations (in many cases private residences).
  • Accurately distribute and place specified materials as indicated on order tickets.
  • Safely and effectively operate a boom as needed.

Profile:

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to customers. They are adaptable, work well independently in varying weather conditions, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and care when operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

  • CDL B license
  • Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Have or obtain MA hydraulics license (boom truck)
  • Some heavy lifting
  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Stone setting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train
